Remember how we were talking about new ways to make money on Gumroad? Well, here's another one for you: commissions.

Yeah, we know. If you're an artist, you've probably done commissions before. But hear us out, because we think we've made it better.

Here's the lowdown:

You can now offer commission slots right on your Gumroad page. But here's the kicker - we collect 50% upfront from the buyer. No more of that "I'll pay you when it's done" nonsense.

How it works:

You set up a commission product (it's just like setting up any other product)
Set your price
Add some questions for the buyer (like "What do you want me to draw?")
When someone buys, we grab half the money right away
You do your thing
When you're done, you mark it complete, and we collect the other half

Simple, right?

But here's the really cool part - you're in control. Someone asks for something you don't want to do? You can say no and refund their deposit. No hard feelings.

We know commissions can be a pain sometimes. Clients changing their minds, scope creep, all that fun stuff. But we figure this system at least takes care of the money part. You know you're getting paid, and the client has skin in the game.

So, why not give it a shot? Set up a commission product and see what happens. Maybe you'll get some interesting projects out of it. Maybe you'll make some extra cash. Maybe both.
